Book cover (and text) design. Complete design and production services. I have produced four color children's books, cook books, text books as well as non-fiction and fiction paperbacks.

Contractual design of video boxes, compact disc and j-card packaging design; miscellaneous identity and collateral.

Art Director - Hollywood Creative Directory, Hollywood, CA - Design and layout of five (5) directories for the entertainment industry. Also design of all in-house ads, stationery, promotional materials and product catalogs. Art-directed photo shoots for product catalog.

Co-Publisher - Homes & Land Magazine, Lake Arrowhead & Victor Valley, CA Prepared production schedule each month and supervised its implementation. Hired and trained production artists. Designed ads and brochures for clients on Macintosh computer using Quark Express, Pagemaker, Aldus Freehand and various software. Editor and designer of in-house newsletter. Photographed Houses. Sold ads.

Managing Editor/Production Coordinator - Magazine MAIN, Venice, CA - Worked with writers, designers and photographers. Created media kit, ads, and miscellaneous collateral on Macintosh computer. Sold ads. Interviewed architects. Researched biographies. Co-wrote editorial feature.

Art Director, PATTERSON'S California Beverage Journal. Glendale, CA - Responsible for design, layout, type specification, copy proofing, paste-up, photo-scaling of editorial section. Ran stat camera. Worked with editors and suppliers. Supervised cover shoots and used stock photo houses. Converted entire magazine to electronic publishing in 1986 using Pagemaker and Microsoft Word, saving client thousands of dollars each month in typesetting costs.
